I quite like the way it looks - I hadn't considered the crash & pedestrian safety aspects: I'm not a massive fan of the nanny state but this is important. I live near some rural-ecomentalist type villages (UK) (aesthetics migh

But with a svelte component it knows a lot about the state, inputs, outputs etc. The default paths should be pretty easy to analyze as long as you pick sensible defaults.

I also like svelte but as a compiler-y person who happens to be doing some JS I can't work out why I'm annotating so much stuff by hand (even with svelte 5). I can get why you might want this for react, but isn't svelte a com

D has contract programming e.g. `in(param < 0)` before { I don't think there's all that much that a typical compiler will do with them however sophisticated enough type system I can see some wins.

A lot of quants are objectively paid very well but not that well (at least pre layoffs) compared to some people who do comparatively little work in tech.

It's good to document this stuff but I find that this enquiry is slightly misaligned in that they keep asking leading questions to people they don't like and not letting them ramble or even talk too quickly. Getting everyone in th

That's because GitHub haven't really innovated in years. They have some good icing (actions is pretty good) but the cake is still just a boxed cake mix from 2010.

These AI whitepapers are getting increasingly close to cookie recipes. You're right, it's within the charter of what arxiv is meant to be, but I don't think that's how a lot of people think about it.

Yeah. One thing I have said a few times is that if we still had the same relationship with local government we had in the past a lot of what are now subscription gyms would probably be owned by the taxpayer, for good or bad.
