there's one I used in the 90s too, like in the XP era, whose name escapes me now.

Aren't there only, say, two or three companies that fit that criteria? The legislators may as well have called them out by name.

If you're only relying on http headers, you're missing all but the most trivial of "bots". There are other things you could do with a backend-only approach but if your code doesn't run where the device connects to (

Does this mean we might see proper extension support in "New" Headless?

This isn't true. There is no national standard to this effect, nor do most (like 46-47) of the states require it. Some municipalities might - I couldn't find any data in a few minutes of googling.

I'll never know, because I'm afraid to click on a podcast in Spotify for fear it will shove more of them in my face. Using Spotify in CarPlay, for several months it used up most of the screen real estate to promote podcasts. Whe

This CNN article suggests people definitely did feel it. > “It felt like you were climbing to the top of a roller coaster. It was at that point,” Williams said. “There were a number of screams on the plane. Everybody knew that somethi

I play that every day. I do my best and once I've given up by the evening time (it resets at midnight Pacific), I go to this site and see how much better I can do with the prefixes. You can tweak the checkboxes to show you more or less

I'm not sure anyone who has started a local ISP would call it a "golden opportunity", regardless of the circumstances.

I agree. The real "problem" in this specific case is that the authoritative source (NOAA) seemingly doesn't make the data available in a manner that's discoverable by crawlers. The currentresults.com page seems.. fine? I

Totally agree with all of that, was just saying you can't use the population numbers to track how many people are in the city on a day-to-day basis.

You can't use the population of SF to compare how "dead" the city feels. Something like >300k people commuted into the city every day. That's increasing the population by like 50%. Would be curious if anyone can find

I've been getting multiple of these per day. Nearly identical to one another, super spammy text and from obvious low quality email addresses. Reporting them as spam diligently doesn't seem to do improve anything.

No need to be rude, I just thought "exactly zero" was a quote when you apparently wrote "virtually zero".

I don't agree with "exactly zero", but it's frequently overstated and the "tripped on a branch" situation is definitely not a concern. However, "attractive nuisance" has gone pretty far, at least here

Having seen some pretty deep npm trees, I worry what you're building could end up (accidentally) doing hundreds or thousands of stars. I'd be careful to not make it recursive, at least - only look at direct dependencies.
