Yes, I shoot in RAW by default most of the time. It can be quickly turned on and off from the stock camera app without even leaving the main screen. You may have to enable it once in Settings -> Camera -> Formats; I've been using

I am leaving out the "data" figure in my counts. As I said, I think there's a bug/misrepresentation in the figures shown in iOS settings.

I'd encourage using --dry-run before running uv sync, by default it can be destructive. By default, an exact sync is performed: uv removes packages that are not declared as dependencies of the project. Use the `--inexact` flag to k

This would certainly be news to me as well. Packet capture (even local) has historically required superuser perms, but I'm not up to speed on how MacOS permissions work in this regard since the launch of System/Network Extensions.

That's been my experience as well. Makes sense, there's little training data available and the (public) docs and (first-party) tooling remain dreadful.

This is a great point. Now I'm wondering if there's a way to get LSPs going with the terminal/TUI interface.

If you have a subscription, I genuinely haven't found any reason to use 4o since o4-mini-high became available. (Every time I write out these model names I realize, again, how absurdly confusing they must be to casual users..)

I version my custom instructions for ChatGPT in a private repo, it's currently over 200 words long. At first, I was concerned for how it'd affect performance by polluting the context window with such a long prefix. Then when one o

Maybe I'm not adventurous enough, but I would never open an Apple product without a teardown video/instructions at hand. iFixit is a fantastic resource if they have covered your device previously.

Worth noting for the folks asking: there's an official Claude Code extension for VS Code now [0]. I haven't tried it personally, but that's mostly because I mainly use the terminal and vim. [0]: https://marketplace
