I’ve got a pair of the ultrafine 5ks. I’d happily trade them in on something that I can plug into and know that it will power up the display reliably. Right now if I take my laptop off somewhere and come back, who knows if they’ll both powe

100% this. I did it for years. I think I’d rather stab myself than do it again.

I once knew a Japanese dude, older guy, now dead. As a kid (like 12-13) he was conscripted by the Japanese military and made to flight test aircraft.

Mining asteroids is a way to obtain materials for use in space, not for transiting back to earth. Duder here seems to think that earth use is the goal. That’s dumb. You mine asteroids to avoid the cost of getting the material up the gravity

My wife ordered a sprinter van 9months ago. Was built in September, got stuck on a parts hood and still isn’t here.

I thought “dev ops” was applying dev work flows to ops processes. That is, sprints, jira stories, etc. Then SRE came along, and it was all about devs doing ops work focusing on keeping things up and running. That is, a dev doing rigorous op

I was thinking more like the affect of thinners already in use on a person (such as myself) if they get the rona, and how it affects disease progression.

by mgarfias 5y ago
Oh sure. But if you’re trying to defeat them, just take a broom handle to the cat and smash the matrix out. Put it back in, and put the o2sims in (or turn off the p0420 code with some tuning software, which is what I did with my race car wh

Anything made after ‘96 has an o2 sensor downstream of the cat to verify the cat is working. If it stops working the ecu will toss a p0420 code and turn on the check engine light.
