Poorly. Quantity may be a quality all it's own, but that quality is poor. There is a lot of music that is not on Spotify, while other music is there but only inferior versions.

I use Bandcamp. I started because many of the artists I listen too, put their music on Bandcamp. I briefly considered paying for Spotify, but at every turn they make it difficult to get to the music I want to play. Why would I pay for that?

Just wacky I had to scroll this far to see Go mentioned. In certain contexts Rust is very impressive, in others Go is a much better choice. I'm really starting to hope that we'll see some of the important advancements in Rust pack

While I realize that you're overstating both cases for rhetorical purposes, (that these undiscovered works are "better", and that Shakespeare is still "greater") I think that you're short-changing "discove

That's an interesting idea. I also think quantum may be to traditional computing as oil was to coal. The OP would probably just write it off as increased complexity though.

I'm surprised this hasn't elicited more commentary. His thesis seemed to be pretty simple, that as we burn through our low-cost, high-return, surplus energy, our economics worsen. We then seek to remedy the problem through more en

I use several search engines, but my primary right now is startpage. It's been ok (If you'd asked me what color the page is I couldn't have told you).

Glad to see work continuing in this area. I've been keeping an eye out, since first reading about Gobekli Tepe (related site nearby) several years ago. If they're truly as old as purported, that's interesting.

Yea, so pretty much every programmer needs to be aware of thinking about lifetimes. The classic issues are creating a local and then giving a reference to it, to something much longer lived, or even undying. In that last case, if your doing

Just riffing on what you all are saying, maybe an, "undo to last working state" might be, for many current environments, an easy to add minor improvement. It doesn't seem that hard to keep track of the last point in the undo

Yes Warp! And that was exactly it, I was blown away to control the GUI from the command-line. Good times, similar time-frame I was first playing with Linux, but there I was just excited to get my BogoMips to scroll by, after building it.
