Understood. My own personal take-away, is that even with all the digging those folks have done it is not possible to know what Apple is actually doing. Which kind of reinforces your original point in the comment that I was responding to.

First time I've seriously looked at Vale. Looks pretty great. One thing that I didn't see in the guide, probably toward the end (maybe in "Patterns") is some discussion about error handling.

Hmm, I can't get an RSS that small even with -nw (to use the client TUI), but leaving that aside, on my box just running GNU Emacs normally I get 88MB RSS, so maybe we just need to update the acronym. ;)

One issue with the intensity thing. In my experience, as you age, it gets harder, and harder to up the intensity without incurring injury, and if you're injured it's harder to exercise at all.
