Apple probably has swathes of real-world usability data showing that virtually no-one uses their phone for prolonged periods of time while it's laying down on a hard flat surface. You may be right about the aesthetics (and Lord Jobs ma

Well-meaning feedback: on the front page, there's a pricing section lower down, which only mentions credits and doesn't give a price ; the click-though goes to a login screen. I found this so instantly frustrating that I rage-clo

I think you're trying to shift the goalposts, or you're just not seeing that we're stuck in circular logic. ---- You originally said there isn't an economic basis to locals' antipathy to outsiders. I provided eviden

The original disagreement was (to simplify) around whether locals' objections to tourists was due to economics (housing becoming more expensive), or other possible factors (including xenophobia). So we seem to have agreed that, yes, in

I'm not sure you've looked very hard. Let's consider Mallorca. It's not all a resort town, but no doubt it's an attractive destination. Estimates of course vary, but there are estimates that 60% of the total hou

It may be much more straightforward than you suggest, and not at all related to xenophobia. A core problem is that an influx of tourists hits the housing supply. Short-term tourism incentivises conversion of local housing to accommodate the

Agree; the choosing ports thing is a gimmick. These days, one video/charging-capable USB-C on each side, plus a USB-A and maybe an SD slot somewhere are enough for most use cases.

And, sadly, also the price. I’d also love to get one but when I last needed a new laptop it was about 60% more expensive than the similarly-spaced Zenbook OLED I bought instead.

I’m with you, and further, I’d apply this (with some caveats) to images created by generative AI too. I’ve come across a lot of people recently online expressing anger and revulsion at any images or artwork that have been created by genAI.
