"Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat, but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires."

The prices haven't changed if we are talking ownership . But we are not talking about ownership, we're talking about licensing. That dichotomy is what we're talking about. People are tricked into thinking they are buying a

I had an IT internship where my manager handed me a master key to the building and root logins for quite a few boxes. I also had the admin credentials to every user computer in the building. Literally the "keys to the kingdom". So

With organizations like banks and such, usually all your logins stop working just as security shows up and escorts you out... that's how you find out you've been fired. If he left his review thinking "they're going to fi

I assume he means the name... it's basically a reference to Soylent Green and cannibalism. "Soylent" is a portmanteau of "soy" and "lentil", but "Soylent" specifically is most commonly associated

"the Street" or "Street's estimate" or something to provide more context. I also thought "Street" was some tech thing that was competing against some Microsoft business line.

All the computer poems were just rambling and rhyming and weren't really even trying to say anything. A lot of the time they phrased things VERY awkwardly too, to the point of being incomprehensible.

Well, the strange polarization and subsequent gross generalization of democrats and republicans aside, this argument can be applied to almost every controversial issue. Pro-birthers argue for the rights of unborn fetuses, pro-choicers argue

To be fair, what's wrong with valuing community over economic growth? If the country has enough to support a high quality of life, why sacrifice principles and values for more? Economic growth is not the be all end all of human existen

Maybe the firm doesn't represent both sides simultaneously. Maybe they usually represent the patent troll, but if someone needs a patent troll defense lawyer they'll do that too. Basically, as long as patent litigation is in town,

I would! However, a "probability of 0.5" and "0.5 percent" are different things by two orders of magnitude . "0.5 percent" is "0.5%" which is 0.5/100, not 50/100.
