For gmail backup, I use https://github.com/gauteh/lieer which stores the result in a maildir with labels synchronised with notmuch. It uses Google's API to fetch and send e-mails, and is quite performant.

For the (few) docker-based browser containers I use, I simply bind-mount[1] the relative devices and (in Chrome) it all just works. For Chrome inside a container, I also install the Google Talk plug-in. Unsure if that's still required,

Compared to an amazfit, which is a similar style smartwatch, the battery life is atrocious - only a few days? Is there any work done to improve the battery life? Ideally, a month (or so) on a charge would be best.

Beware that using "$@" there might not be what you want, as it passes space-separated arguments to mkdir. What does: "mkd foo bar" do? It creates both directories, and cd's into "bar". Might be worth check
