Having been in environments that still needed to support JRE6 and be secure, the support contract from Oracle is actually not horribly priced and is actively fixing CVE's that are not available to the public.

Having worked with VC's before, there isn't always a clear domain understanding of the problem they are investing in. Additionally, once funding snowballs, later investors can incorrectly assume due diligence has been taken care

That's why I bought a Motorola flagship phone when they were owned by Google, with very few custom OS changes beyond ASOP... I've been bitten at least once by most mfgs at this point, HTC, Motorola, Samsung.

This honestly in general has me leery of Android as an ecosystem in general. I also don't like iOS's approach in other realms either. So it's essentially stuck between a rock and a hard place.

The middle ground to this sounds like a skip-list, but I haven't seen that implemented inside a SQL system. Maybe a trigger on inserts to the count row to randomly insert the skip list count. Problem would be, this would essentially

Quick note, they define Private Cloud as "Customer’s private cloud environment on a cloud provider" but that is not the definition I go by. Just a heads up while reading. I would define Private Cloud as a non-bare metal solution
