Is there anything stopping someone from abusing paid ad services for any of these platforms themselves to the same effect? This is assuming that they allow you to finely target the ads which I believe they do.

Methodologies exist only to shepherd delivery - don't make shepherding itself the primary focus of your day-to-day lest you lose sight of the real aim: to deliver projects on time with minimal bugs while minimizing the effects of inevi

To what end? The inevitable outcome is that you have a hodge-podge of HTML and styles and if you want to replicate one you have to backtrack through a plethora of random posts to find the one that implemented it. I see zero value in a time

And replaced by what? I don't see any altruistic ventures waiting to supplant them - just even worse examples of a feedback loop gone awry.

Given there is only so much time in the say I've always looked at productivity as a way to minimize wasting said time. Some people opt to fill in the time gained with more work and some people choose to use the time gained for leisure.

I think a tech demo is in line with this thinking - selling it first doesn't mean there can't be anything of substance. It means you didn't invest a year of your life taking the tech demo and making a full-blown product out o

Krita + Gimp is a great combo - I'm extremely happy both exist in the OSS world! Hoping to use Krita more as I start getting into texturing models - it's been great so far for basic images though.

That was the most interesting thing I've read in a while. The things you take for granted are designed well enough that you forget they are there.

Such statements (about customer support) are completely subjective though I'm not sure you can just fling that out there as a global truth. Project Fi, while perhaps an outlier, bucks your point.

It seems the world today the timing is entirely based on the country. In the U.S. the time it took for regular mobile phones to be supplanted by smartphones is ridiculously small yet the same cannot be said for many countries in the world.
