We're using Stencil.js in my company right now, but almost went with litElement(the tech underlying Polymer) instead. I think Ionic's commercial support is what swayed us, although I would personally have been happier (arguably) w

The obvious option is to do some extra learning on your own time (or see if your employer has any programs that are designed to level up their employees) :) You might also take yyyk's advice and look for a company that allows you to do

A big chunk of those are only used during development and compilation (like `6to5` and `Babel` and all the `@types` libs). They are not (or at least should not be) included in the final, downloadable product.

Not just the title, the site is irritating as well. I had already scrolled down and started reading when the full-screen panhandler screen slid down (slowly!), and when I clicked out of it I was back at the top of the page again. Then a SEC

I actually don't know what you'd search on those sites - I just know my recommendations list seems to cycle through a mostly endless series of music theory videos. But yes, searching for "music theory" and things like th

The yellow->blue->brown series of books is a slower paced way to learn theory. It's more thorough and is meant for people with essentially zero musical knowledge. You'll spend a big chunk of time on each thing. The white boo

Absolutely! Aside from the plethora (never used that word before!) of videos on YouTube and courses on sites like EdX, you can pick up the theory books from Gloria St. Germain, grab a pencil, and go through them :) I use them in my classes

This doesn't have anything to do with variables, it's simply adding an opacity value to hex-encoded colours. So `#ffff` (or `#ffffffff`) is the sames as `rgba(255, 255, 255, 1)`, and `#ffffff7f` would be `rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5)`

Glad to see PHP moving more fully towards static typing :) Also the monotonic clock - I wrote an extension back in 2014 for this ( https://github.com/metaloha/phpTimer ).

What an amazingly poorly informed article. Specifically, Angular does do Server Side Rendering, and from the React notes, if you can learn ES6, then you're also learned TypeScript since they're the same thing (TS is a superset of

The issue at it's most fundamental level is that people are putting things on Facebook (and other social networks) with an expectation of privacy in the first place. If you post something on Facebook, you have in fact decided that you

The text they quoted from MS specifically uses the word "publicly displayed" - how does that translate into their example of a couple doing sexy time on Skype breaking those terms?

I think the key word (that literally everyone is ignoring, as far as I can see) is the word "publicly". The violation will exist if you break the terms publicly. Your private documents, Skype chats, and emails are not public, and

Nope, these kinds of things are (almost) never on time though. Angular is a complex project and will likely never hit a deadline again, nor will anything based on it :) That said, I've got a lot of love for it right now, and am anxious
