I agree with the post. My first computer had worse specs than this and was a perfectly usable experience. I actually used it to edit videos. It had 128mb RAM and shipped with Windows 98.

Here is a post from an expert answering your question about the FPGA thing: https://www.bunniestudios.com/blog/?p=5706 I do not want exactly what you are suggesting. What I am into is homebrew computing and trusted com

There are very good reasons to want this. A big one is being able to perform computing without the prying eyes of a corporation, for example if you disagree with the idea of large companies making money off of your data. As a different idea

You can buy this, FYI. I know because I own it. It's just it will cost you ($$$$). Here is where you get it: 1. The Laptop: https://shop.mntre.com/products/mnt-reform 2. The FPGA OpenCores-compatible Processor for

Yeah this is why I have held off on buying a Framework too. I want a Risc solution, but also preferably the FPGA mainboard idea with the OpenCores for the supplemental processing.

I think it's more malicious than that. They know I use privacy tools and can't be tracked -> they can't make money on me -> bully me into not using their service.

Yeah, I get these. The problem is that the Captchas take forever to fill out (like 5 minutes of challenges). But the worse part is that the captchas are asking for wrong answers. It tells you to select scooter and there's no scooter in

I don't think this is true. A lot of people in the witchcraft scene are entrepreneurs due to persecution. What is likely more correct is that "fantastic beliefs" are associated with bad economic conditions (looking for fantas

I realize this is a really fringe interest, but I want them to make a RISC laptop eventually, with open source firmware and an open source graphics stack.

I had a bad experience. I have top tech companies on my resume and they made the role look cool and I was trying to slow down a little . They instead put me into support . The codebase wasn’t in source control ; it was just a few scripts in

It is true but the general interest level and attention to detail in industry is not what it once was. By recent, I want to say around 2012-2013+.
