Somewhat grim, but this has to be disregarding the humans who never reach the reproductive age or the ones who cannot keep their offspring alive. So there is some survivorship bias baked into the methodology.

I don't know why convex mirrors aren't common. There must be a well researched reason like them leading to bad judgement of relative speed or messing up with spatial awareness of the driver. Hard disagree about backup cams. I can&

Indeed if you hibernated in early 2021 and just woke up, the prices would look kind of same. But the other side of the coin is also interesting. Up to six months ago, they couldn't make them fast enough when they were selling the cars

Good enough is good enough for the majority of the market. They don't want to hear Vienna Philharmonic's third violinist breathe, they want to listen to autotuned pop music on a pair of $20 headphones and get on with their day.

I was in a rejected take off. I collected my phone from the cockpit door after it flew there from my hand. Without the seatbelt, I would have flown too. I never found out the reason. I thought they would have to report it and I could read i

They are overpriced by around $20k for the fit and finish. Build and materials quality were ok to overlook when Teslas used to be the only sensible EV option. Now the market is full of interesting EVs. Why pay German car money to get a car

Unprotected left turns into El Camino are the worst. There is always a light two blocks away in some direction. It's in Google's backyard. How they get this one wrong is puzzling.

I believe you are giving too little credit for the state of the art to Google. Transformer is a Google research invention. The main criticism could be not turning these amazing tech into products. But then nobody really did it either. ChatG

Is that a fair comparison? Did everyone or anyone have unlimited options for substitute calories and nutrients without milk? How does modern factory farmed dollar per liter milk compare to the milk back then?

That scheme isn't necessarily zero sum. If Yahoo simply didn't have the inventory to show certain ads but AOL did and vice versa then it would be a mutually beneficial deal that fills ad slots that would otherwise go unfulfilled.
