Watch out. Each vendor / website has processes you may want to follow. You could also get in touch with http://www.us-cert.gov/ . They are helpful in providing advice and guidance.

As you noted, Mega doesn't have the team functionality. But I would never use Mega for a team/collaboration/work setting. Who knows when they'll get shutdown again. The whole thing is way too flamboyant when all people need is reliable infr

If you want to build an app for traders, start trading yourself. If you want to build an app for mass email campaigns, look for web marketing work to pay for some R and D. Approach things practically, keeping the theory to a minimum (though

Scope out the company you're interviewing for, their goals, their accomplishments, their difficulties. Get their perspective and you'll do much, much, better in the interview.

Scrape. Don't violate TOS, but you should grab any public data that you legally can to improve your app. Watch robots.txt for specific rules beyond TOS, and be kind to the servers. Don't thread like crazy just because you can.

Work with people in a freelance capacity first. It's kind of tricky because it can be perceived as dishonest. But as long as you're open and serious about it, and convey that to the candidate, it can work.
