I don't get the point of this comment. Was this stopping these issues from being pursued? Is it wrong to pursue other objectives while these (objectively difficult) problems are solved? Or is this just sterile contempt?

How would 'forcing' you actually work? Lock you out of the app until you've conversed with a native speaker? If you are committed to learning a language you will naturally seek out the occasions to practice it outside the app

Completely agree withe window management part. I find it easy to work on Win/Ubuntu with multiple desktops and Alt+Tab, but the overly complicated flow of Command+Tab makes this impossible on Mac. So I just end up with most of the stuf

Obsidian looks interesting, but how do you sync between devices? Their sync service seems really expensive. On desktop I guess you can use git/Dropbox plugin, but what about mobile? I take a lot of notes on my Android phone.

I'm not sure that real names would help much. Look at LinkedIn. Lots of personal details in each person's profile, yet it is still devolving into Facebook level low quality content.
