What do you think about the problems some are having with panels coming off? Yea the stock is insane, it'll be interesting to see where it goes.

Yea, I don't know where the idea that Tesla is the "Best EV" comes from. Hype? Tesla has no where near the quality or standards of other car manufacturers. That makes sense because they are so new.

It's not splitting hairs, you are the only one splitting hairs here. The vox article clearly shows that they were trying to recruit, even though they say they aren't. It's not a grand conspiracy but it's the same as the

For sure, no worries. It's really hard to decipher what is and isn't a reliable source sometimes. I spend a lot of time on this topic so I know a lot of the usual ones to watch out for.

Well they are using the Fraser Institute, it's a right wing think tank that aims to take away things like universal care in favour of private care. So, I wouldn't trust it.

Right in the article: "Trudeau said the new border controls will not apply to trade and commerce in order to keep Canada's supply chain open."

The US seems to have a lot of community cases, so if they don't close that border as well it won't make much of a difference.

You're writing this as if courts and justice systems are perfect, when they often fail women, and victims of sexual assault. Many things in the past have been legal that shouldn't have been. And many people have gotten away with w

Historical works to a point. There were people who obviously knew that slavery was bad back then. It's more controversial to think that everyone thought it was OK.

Some of us actually do care, and we should actually care about this. Don't put people up on pedestals that don't deserve it.

People on this site really don't know anything about history. And if you try to show them, they just ignore you. There are lots of libertarian tech bros on this site.

Neither of you have legitimate arguments, and are both in fact strawmanning your "opposition". I'd suggest actually reading the IPCC report if you haven't yet, as it's all of our future.

They, really are not "a curious bunch of people". I'm calling it a weird implication because it's reductionist and kind of fascistic to try to write off huge groups of people as being inherently different.
