That’s a rust library or rather typst code also gets published to crates.io. But it’s not something that can be turned into a libtypst.so/dylib/dll.

The only downside of typst is that there is no libtypst, which would make it easy to embed.

Most programming languages have unsound features.

Most people used advanced features, even if they were hidden behind libraries. Even if you’ve just had a codebase which only used playframework.

When working with git it’s better to split refactorings, bug fixes and features per commit or merge request (if you squash) else your git history will be not so useful anymore.

That is simply not true. The bigger the project gets the more you see the shortcomings of go. You can see that very well in the k8s project

well this really depends on what you use mdraid/zfs and as you said alignment. but only for reads. if you just use dumb mdraid (without too much optimizations configured) (raid 10) + xfs and read/write on top of it you will end u

this is definitly not true anymore, when the java libs used jaxb/xml/javaee stuff. most often because of java 9. its possible to make them running but its definitly not without issues. I did run so many 10 years old java binaries

In Germany peppol will not be mandatory for a very very long time. Most people still sending invoices via mail, even in b2b. Only in 2027 will make electronic invoices (xml format) mandatory, it will probably another 2-5 years until peppol

I‘m not in favor of nuclear at all. But I do not like the term ‚are a dead end‘. If everybody would do that we would probably not have blue led‘s and that would’ve hindered the growth of many modern computing devices.

Before the iPhone came we actually had replaceable batteries on most phones and it worked really well. Battery contacts degrading is definitely not a problem for a phone that has a lifetime of maximum of like 7 years. Yes waterproofing bec

actually in that case its more the other way around. its easier to drive with a profile that is not connected, you only loose the app functions like heating and knowing how much you still can drive and other things that are not 100% needed.

VW do use opt-in. In fact it is so annoying that you get asked every time when you start your car. So basically every time your car start it says „do you want to use the profile connected with the vw service“ if you do not accept it than th

actually the higher versions of rust actually do need these refactors way less often since more lifetimes can be elided and when using generic code or impl traits you can basically scrap a ton of it. I still sometimes stumble upon the first

actually the sspl can’t be a fork of the agpl. Because osi and thus the agpl do not discriminate users and this includes cloud providers. A license like the sspl discriminates a certain user base.
