Well what you did will often not stay as is and at least evolve into the antipattern (update the input from outside) the only alternative would be to create a new key to do that. And trust me there is a lot of useeffect Code which is not a

What you now basically did is an antipattern. Because your example gets quite messy if the outer state gets updated and the component should render the new value. I mean even react itself acknowledges the problem. https://react.d

Ruby can be slow as hell as well. Start the ruby shell for gitlab. Of course this only happens when tons of packages are loaded which will probably never happen for a cli tool, right?

sustained reads would not even give 1 mio iops in that case. Maybe wen you only read the same file that fits into the nvme cache. Which probably never happens in a production database..

As said no. A license should not discriminate not even against billionaires. Either you start with x and keep it that way or you are not better than the billionaires. Bait and switch is even worse than being a asshole

The sspl is basically hostile to a certain user base, one could say it’s rassist. And that’s against the spirit of the fsf.

The OSI and FSF make sense by prohibiting stuff like the sspl. Open source should express freedom and by putting restrictions on certain users no matter how evil they are wont express freedom at all

It would not even make sense. Since you do not even always know what license the thing has you are connecting to. And not even the fsf sees it that way.

You missed that the ‚binary‘ vsix file has a different license: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items/ms-vscode.cpptool... (The license like that existed before cursor, it was basically the reason for vscodium) (S

FortiGate 50g (higher version than 7.0 probably fixes that, but no idea when that will be released), some synology nas and there are tons of other boxes like that.

The problem is more or less devices that do not support dns challenges or only support letsencrypt and not the acme protocol (to chain acme servers, etc)

First of all, their docs link to the market place of ms: https://www.cursor.com/how-to-install-extension Which is basically an article to use an extension in a way that’s basically forbidden use. If that was not bad enough

Wasm gc was needed for that. Wasm evolves slowly so that it can be done right. Even if the dom api comes, not a lot of it will change since only c-like languages will be as small as possible to fit into the space of JavaScript.

Yeah like the module system. Looks good on paper, is probably hard to deal with. There are still tons of popular libraries that have no module-info. Java does evolve, but the direction it does is so weird. And than the tooling is strange an

Shares are only worth what somebody wants to pay for them. Selling a ton of shares also often devalues them. Since the company was losing money, it was clear that the shares would drop.
