When driving I use Siri to control Spotify and to call people. At home I use google home every day to know the weather, to set alarms and to play music. I'd use Siri for those functions but it responds way slower than google home.

This is essentially the premise of good k-12 public schools. The good schools are the schools with the good students. In some states, the worst schools are the most funded, and they continue to be the worst schools.

It's not perfect but IMO it's the best acceptance criteria available. The alternative is evaluating people based on subjective criteria like "well roundedness".

Ideally we shouldn’t have to name things that are never reused. Often class names are only ever used once. There isn’t much benefit in naming the class.

Maybe contrived wasn’t the best word, but I’ve been asked to implement a simplified feature of the company’s product. So at one company I was asked to create a simplified model for their product with support for undo/redo.
