How is it different from a squat? Are people not spreading their cheeks? Your body is still aligned the same way when you rest your elbows on your thighs.

They processed the return and shelved it faster than he could walk from customer service to the shelf? They had CPUs sitting on the shelf for anyone to grab? Fun story, but maybe your coworker was pulling your leg?

Not recently but as a kid: wooden blocks, LEGO, a pad of graph paper, a pad of blank paper, ruler, mechanical pencil. Ocassionally as an adult, the pads of paper and mechanical pencil are great for doodling. For kids, those items alone aren

I think it would be useful in the classroom when learning about maps. Everyone will learn and become familiar with the other projections, but this projection shows how distorted the others are. It would be good to know the (more) true siz

I don't remember where I read it, but apparently one person was successful with stopping a free weekly paper from being delivered by reporting littering to the police (they tried telling the newspaper first, but they didn't stop).

I just say, "Cancel my subscription." Don't play their game, don't give them an inch, if they ask why, just repeat "Cancel my subscription". If they say something else, just say "cancel" and nothing

I bought a new vehicle that came with a free year of SiriusXM, but I never activated it because I've heard how scummy the company is about canceling. Once a month they mailed me a postcard to sign up, I called them to ask them to stop

It's the Internet Of Things. Microsoft was just trying to be ahead of the curve (post was from 2014). Afterall, there are now IoT dishwashers, refrigerators, coffeemakers, etc. Whose to say there won't be an IoT toaster?

Unintended recipients don't know it will only be a single, one-time email. To them, it looks exactly like spam. Don't look at it from your perspective, look at it from a random stranger's perspective.
