What platform are you developing for, web? Did you start with Cursor and move to Codex or only ever Codex?

Well I'd imagine the new framework wouldn't rewrite old but wrap the existing low level APIs in a way that is not error prone. Centralize the tricky bits so Photos and third party apps don’t each have to reinvent them?

Open your C++ project in Cursor. Before anything else ask it to review the codebase and tell you what the codebase does so you can understand its power. Play around asking it to find sections of the code that handle functionality for certai

Cursor has made writing C++ like a scripting language for me. I no longer wrestle with arcane error messages, they go straight into Cursor and I ask it to resolve and then from its solution I learn what my error was.

Heavily paraphrasing but I believe I remember Ed Catmul saying in his Pixar book having slogans like this are dangerous because you just say the thing and don’t actually do it.

I believe the Blizzard game launcher uses QT? Blizzard to me has always had the best execution of UI in their software/games. Curious if there are any Qt projects you’d single out as being great?

I’m currently using Cursor to complete something that would have taken me about a full year in a month. But I’m in no rush to invite an army of people to compete with me just yet. I’ll be back when I’m sipping coladas on a beach to tell you

I’ve been experimenting with making my last meal of the day as far from my sleep as possible ideally waking up at 5am, drinking water / vitamins, exercising by lifting my dumb bells in my studio apartment, eating a 1k calorie breakfas

Yea I guess my thought is even if they were light as a single feather they'd still tickle and annoy your face.. Happy to be proven wrong obviously but so far that's my outlook.

My bet is that having a physical monitor will always be the luxury option and that XR will never be able to get away from the annoyance of having something on your face. Curious if you agree or if maybe you prefer Vitures over a physical mo

I’m staying at a friends and using my laptop and a second monitor of his to work. I’ve wondered if the Xreal Air 2 would be better than a large monitor. My hunch is that having a dedicated smaller monitor not on my face is more comfortable

I often wonder if game level designers now play it too safe much like the movie industry does with its proven plot points. I think about classic maps like de_dust being the Mrs Doubtfire of game level design..
