Compare this to the human controlled puppets Tesla demonstrated. Tesla made a big show of something Disney could do years ago. While Boston Dynamics is quietly building the real thing and showing us footage of it actually working.

What most don't understand is that the economy IS us caring for each other. When you go to a restaurant when you are hungry, or a store to get what you need, or a hospital when you get sick, you are getting care. Virtually most people

I use Raku for production. It's great for orchestration, or writing a quick server. Text manipulation and processing is amazing. I'm shocked it hasn't gotten more adoption in the LLM space. You would think someone would make

Exactly! It's like that Skinner Simpsons meme. Are unit tests the problem and I'm wasting my time? No, it's the config files that are wrong.

Exactly. Private companies like space X would not exist if NASA didn't deliberately make the market for Private space companies. That's what governments do, make markets.

You need to watch "All Watched over by Machines of Loving Grace" by Adam Curtis which outlines Silicon Valley's long Libertarian roots. Making money and greed has been deeply embedded from the start.

The issue is that his bias creates bad reporting. There is always bias as you mentioned, but his is so bad that it clouds his judgement. There are many users who use Mozilla's products not because they are superior (though I think fire

Exactly, Sam Altman wants group think, no opposition, no diversity of thought. That's what petty dictators demand. This spells the end of OpenAI IMO. Huge amount of money will keep it going until it doesn't

It's not enough to look at averages. When growth happens, someone benefits. If you have a very unequal society, which the U.K. is, that benefit goes to only a few people. On paper it looks good, but the lived reality is different.

The money you have to pay taxes comes from public spending. The government has to spend first before collecting taxes, that's how money works. The money to buy government bonds comes from spending too. In fact, if the government didn&#

The secret purpose of Scrum is to get rid of managers and empower the engineering team. Most "scrum" is simply taught wrong because it was sold to companies as a way to squeeze workers.

Inequality continues to rise. Everyone around you is getting poorer. More unions would help stop it, or at least slow it down. We need more unions, not less.

We already tax unrealized gains. The US has property tax. When you buy a house, you pay a tax based on it's worth. We just don't have a tax on legal fictions (paper property like stock). The question is, why not? Why can't we
