I like the remote editing stuff in VSCode, but I often end up having to rsync things at some point since I need to test code on remote servers, but I sometimes need access to other resources only available on my local machine. I can use VSC

OmniDiskSweeper: my favorite app for this is a native Mac application. That weighs in at about 24MB. This is quite a bit leaner. Don’t know if it’s any good but for non technical users the size of this app is about as low as you can go with

In my defense, I did not say partial is currying, just that it is an alternative to a lambda in Python. I agree with your points, and with Izkata that the more relevant nuance is not that Python cannot curry, but that it doesn't do cur

Tangentially related, but I’m interested in doing file system traversal for finding some paths in Python: using a simple scandir to process takes minutes on the data I’m working with: shelling out to find is faster but still takes minutes.

Does eMacs have a good remote editing and debugging system comparable to VSC? I’ve tried pycharm and nvim, but both were clunky and did not work as well if at all for remote debugging and editing with navigation, autocomplete, linting etc.
