Correct, you weren’t riding a bullet train. There are these really fast trains that exist in a dozen countries. China has 30,000 miles of high-speed rail.

“ Blake’s pitch to airlines is enticing: “You’re already flying this route with a 300-seat plane where 80+ people in business class generate most of your profit. Give those passengers a supersonic plane, cut the flight time in half, and cha

“There’s a more perfect way to fix the problem…” Yes, there always is. 40 years later… Global commercial aviation is about 3% of all emissions”. Reducing that 25-30% to 15-20% is significant.

“It'll take at least a hundred years for us to get to Singularity” We’re only 37 years into the story. The woman would only be in her early 60s. With revised estimates, The Singularity is now less than 20 years away.

The machine has been available for a couple years to treat liver tumors. It’s available in several US cities but not widely available. It uses cavitation to destroy the tumor. https://www.mdanderson.org/cancerwise/histo

I do own a cat and he runs the neighborhood. I’ve also known people whose cats got hit by cars. Even driveway accidents. Is there some reason we don’t want a smarter car that avoids pets and wildlife?

I took one of those. I was negative but definitely had a tumor. My doctor said you have to take the home test every year. It’s no replacement for a colonoscopy. They’ll snip those polyps before they grow to become cancerous.

Definitely get a colonoscopy. Colon cancer is the one cancer you can detect before it’s a problem. I felt a little dumb once I found out I waited a few years too long then needed surgery and chemo. That liquid biopsy should be used to detec

Ask about the Sutab pills instead of the fluids. Yes, the colonoscopy is a breeze, especially compared to the surgery and chemotherapy. The chemotherapy was definitely harsh. Fortunately, I was a candidate for only 3 months of treatment.

Who’s the media? I don’t follow a lot of news and I didn’t know Mr Kirk until last week. People are in these media bubbles where they’re amped up all the time. Each side does a lot of name calling. Each group boils it down to us vs them.

Stephen King made the mistake of chiming in on X then having to apologize. I never heard of Mr Kirk until the shooting so I don’t want to support his beliefs or dismiss them but I think we need to promote freedom of speech/expression.

So, I got to the bottom of this. Someone watches a lot of “right wing “ alarmist garbage on the Internet then doubts everything. Mission accomplished.

You watch a lot of garbage. The first video said nothing about climate change. (By the way DDT was banned.) The second started with Greta. I stopped immediately. None of it was science. Chris Wallace interview did nothing. No gotcha moment

Which alarmism would you like to discuss? Can’t be vague if you want to address a problem. Another tendency is to complain about current policies without offering any solutions.
