Why do people get on stuff some known people use blindly? That is such a bad habit like everyone getting on git and getting burned and now it's irreversible with all the existing ecosystem. How hard is it to just spin up a beefy cloud

Except the listing looks ancient and doesn't bring alternatives like this post's link. You don't use "sed" as a text editor.

I suppose using a package managers that random people can commit stuff into would be a no go for you too. I think complaining about streamlined remote script execution is just being pedantic. If you're so worried, wget to see and run.

Ate you a city planner in Japan? The Japanese population is declining, so not sure how it's not sustainable and Covid took many workers off from commuting.

Saying it's a Google analytics alternative is quite far stretched. It doesn't have any user journey but only entry and exit, no A/B testing, no heatmap for click and scrolls. If it doesn't provide any actionable intels,

Is it just me that while I hear good things about their product, I don't find the need to use their product? Do they have a product that has no good competition or is the first choice as a tool? Nevertheless, nice accomplishment.

You're doing it wrong. Use Homebrew only for tools and not for critical services like databases and use a cloud server or local virtualization like VMware Fusion (which is free these days for personal use) to run services because major

The author is a programmer for sake. Writing a little script sounded worthwhile. Also, what expense? $0.2 per compile instead of buying a laptop with better CPU?

How is it related? I'm not dismissing some business idea but merely providing an idea to make personal computing easier and I'm not giving lazy-to-accomplish idea?

Why not just spin up an adhoc build server on demand and use whatever laptop you want to? I don't know about the compilation procedure but how hard is it to spin up a beefy CPU intensive server ($300/mo = $0.2 per 30 min use), let

You don't even need a dedicated physical machine. There's WSL and cloud servers are so cheap I don't see a reason to complain it doesn't work easy on Windows.

I'm not a user but I know Blender had existed for quite a while but how is it gaining traction a lot these days suddenly? Is there something that makes it a first choice for many professional users?

You usually want bidirectional monitoring on the monitoring server, so let an external service monitor your monitoring server and it should be cheap.

What kind of hopium is that? Once Tether collapses, the entire crypto market loses its faith as they've been trading against fraud and the market structure was as imaginative as it could be.

In reality, if there is a source of resource closer to destination, then the client would question why you're transporting from a further source making it unnecessarily expensive and you will not get a contract.

In reality, if you deliver same amount of cargo from a location compared to a location further, you get paid the same, assuming same contents. But in the game, you get rewarded for carrying it from a far location for no good reason.
