So, not for everyone, especially when you have to manage your own binary. No one can feel 0.01s faster load time and there will be a dozen more things to tune in your app than shave that tiny bit off.

Hard to think this method takes off as people are reluctant to run their own binary that can't be updated with the rest of the system which in turn gives less users to report bugs and blogs about usage/reviews.

Manual rule that never gets defined for good sounds like a trouble waiting to happen. It will cause many support tickets asking for every edge cases and some will be angry for not being approved. If you're really trying to win VS Code

Funny people are willing to leave with just 1 text banner which you can turn off. Ubuntu is providing so much value on the server end, having predictable LTS release, quite up to date packages, easy to use zfs and solid experience, it seems

Not sure about others but tools like Superset have plenty of better alternatives like Grafana and Metabase. So when there are better alternatives, it's not too inaccurate.

I really hate when a dev makes excuse blaming an external library for lack of integration. It is them that chose whatever the library and didn't care to fix.

That would be a laughable lazy decision if it is so in 2022 not to care for mobile usability. They have AppCode and Android Studio targeting mobile as well.

Except they forgot to think about mobile usability. On Android it just doesn't work like it should.

I have a feeling people feel "cool" for knowing how to combine AWS services and pretend it's the modern magical way, in fact they're just feeding themselves to AWS by not having radical thoughts. One instance with some k

Never used Arch but since they show up often in search results, I've learned they have relatively good articles. I think I learned how to run systemd-nspawn from there as there weren't much concentrated document on that.

Seriously why are people using AWS? What made them choose AWS over others and self managing your own servers which isn't really that hard.

What's bad is that while neovim tries to make vim much more functional with bunch if plugins, they barely stay stable. I don't know why but even if I install same plugins with same config on various machines of same Linux distro v

No longer need to call mom from another house to tell how to run some commands as I screwed network settings on reboot. On a related note, how is EC2 still that hard to have a working offline console?

If he was going full scratch everything, why didn't he make a new markup and styling that would fix everything the web is wrong about instead of reinventing a jaggy wheel? That would've been a revolution.

If you don't need their snapshotting, there's borg discount if you search for it. I just found out that now you need to pay annually for this. Their deals are simply getting worse and worse.

It's not a discount. It's a special account that forces you to have 4TB minimum which used to be 1TB, so it's not cheap just to have a small amount of data. In that case, better to just spin up your $5 instance and put zfs on
