If China can't get the GPU's they'll build them. If they can't build them they'll smuggle them, and either way, eventually they will take over Taiwan, and then the US will be wondering what they can cook with leftov

From my understanding, they have been intentionally sabotaging the heat shield to test the limits of the ship. They are putting the shield through the ringer to find the extreme boundaries to design around. If they needed land a payload, th

I live in an area that gets quite cold. On very cold days this winter, I experimented making ice cream outside. Just make a base, pour it on to some baking sheets, then swirl and scrape it off. When set up, transfer back into a bowl and all

I don't get why so many still believe the US is capitalist or that the word is even a useful abstraction. Zuckerberg controls the allocation of resources that he does because created an advertising and surveillance apparatus useful to

It's worse than having no desire to stop him. Republicans want to compete to bow down to Trump like a gaggle of serfs. It is a debasement of human dignity to watch them grovel.

That is absolutely true. They are also much more resistant to being handled for tagging or vaccinations. Cattle are docile and compliant, and bison are absolutely not.

Yeah the game is already lost. The question is how long the US can keep dumb laws that don't acknowledge reality. Unfortunately that timespan is 249 years and counting apparently.

The sad reality is how politically influential it will be for Americans to take a Chinese EV from the airport to a hotel in Cancun and say, "Why don't we have this in the US?"

This comment is low-effort, but in the case you are genuinely confused, the herd refers to the animals on a given ranch. As in, you have a ranch of 100 acres and 100 bison on it. The owner of the ranch owns a herd of 100. The bison aren

I support them as wildlife, a food source, and ecological resource. If people in the US ate bison instead of cows, it would be a huge benefit for the climate, ecosystem, and our health. If he had not created a profitable enterprise, there w

Ted Turner owned the largest American Bison herd (~45k animals), supplying meat for his "Ted's Montana Grill" restaurants. I don't know much else about the man, but as a supporter of Bison I can commend that part of his

I generally always sleep well, but enjoy a nice big cup of coffee in the morning. If I'm really sleep deprived, I switch to black tea. Seems odd because you'd think less caffeine would be worse, but the tea is easier on the stomac

I said hello to another dad at soccer for three-year-olds, and he responded with something like, "Ugh, I'd rather be ANYWHERE else". It's 10am on a Saturday and you're running around playing games with your kid. I j

I can honestly say that I don't have any time for a dad who isn't all-in for their kids. I understand if the responsibilities aren't 50/50, but if you're making mom handle everything I think you're a loser. All

My understanding from watching a video on this last night, the same Blade 2.0 cells going into the cars are going into the charging stations. And it just so happens that BYD is massively scaling the manufacturing of these.

True, though I think it's a little more nuanced. There's still capacity, but the AI boom is unearthing all the "cheap" power places in the grid and buying them up. In order to keep growing, the US power grid is going to

I like this idea, but limit it to $1000. Everything in government is funded, but each person can direct $1000 to general fund, a specific department, an initiative, or a registered non-profit.

The demand can be more elastic than you envision. If power is expensive on a given day, electric cars can wait to charge, or even discharge if they aren't going to be used. People can wait to run laundry dryers. The market will incenti
