Can you publish your numbers afterward? Or just whether you thought it was worth it? (Or something along those lines) I have seen this strategy recommended to gauge interest, but have always been wary of doing it myself (for exactly this re

What do you see as the potential areas where RethinkDB will shine? Also, I am excited to try this out. I always enjoyed your writings and I am sure you + team have made something awesome.

Wow, I had forgotten about how disappointed I was when I found out about winmodems. That tempered my fascination with Linux fairly quickly at the time.

What are companies like yours thoughts on people who don't have much "portfolio" work, but have been working on a side project that seems to at least superficially match your goals and mission? I have been working on a project (web and iOS

That would be really awesome. Overall I like this landing page, but my main question is "how good is the summary?" and "Can I trust the summary generated?" Maybe non-technical people are just like, "Yeah! Awesome!" and that is all that matt

My thoughts exactly. The author should reconsider what he means by "mastering" something. Not passing a final exam for an introductory course isn't mastering the topic. I am totally on board with the idea of seeing how fast someone can comp

That is a pretty glowing review. I went through their blog and found a couple others. Thanks for the pointer. It looks like there has already been a bit of code released to help make it more like programming with other Ruby frameworks. I'm

I will be interested to see a good comparison of productivity vs. Objective-C based stuff. We are about to decide whether to build our iOS app in Ruby or Objective-C, and as we are primarily a Ruby shop are leaning in that direction, but ar

I would add that it is pretty easy to get started with on Rails as well. Using the Sunspot library for Solr is super easy to use and has been really flexible for our use cases. It is a solid piece of software.
