Not a compiler author, but have some experience with finding bugs in compilers. If I had to venture a guess, I'd pick the testsuite (and other tools like fuzzing and mass user base), since the complexity is quite high. In our experien

I see your point, but I think the framing is important: yes, you generally want to benefit from some of the things you do, and most of your work is generally not your marvelous work . I indeed believe the best work is done when you are

Well, I see that as a false dichotomy, and an important one at that. The most marvelous work the world has seen is a product of love, not a desire to maximize money or exposure. If you were doing number theory in 1500s, you were not thi

Can you name any other CEO who could pull the success Tesla had thus far? It comes in a package--you cannot pick and choose. If the board (or SEC) legitimately thought a better person could run the company, the outcome may have been diffe

It is a civil lawsuit and it sure is material as far as quantifying damages is concerned. But why speculate when we can just wait and see the outcome. Again, I agree that your post above might serve as an avenue to claim some damages that a

Filing a lawsuit does not mean you will win. Yes, you can tactically become a shareholder and file suits as some people do all the time. You miss earning you get hit by a shareholder lawsuit every time. This is not a rare thing, but also d
