I think we are overloading what we mean by analytics and the purpose of it. Its not all about collecting profiles of users for advertising. It also about understanding the usage of your application. The BBC should absolutely by tracking

Lost trust from a small but very vocal bunch of disruptive people and others who don't know what that actual issue is but seemed like a good band wagon to jump on grrrr big business giving it to the man!

I'm sure I read once that they literally have a slightly different weight/volume (can't recall which) on average (even after you factor in body size). Also don't assume that means anything in regards to intelligence. Wou

Why? Why do you want a degree? Is it purely a personal satisfaction thing, prove to yourself that you can do it? If so then you probably suck it up and do the full thing. Is it the nag that you missed something or may not be percieved as g

Frameworks don't suck if they meet your requirements either, however, you often don't find out a killer requirement until your up to your neck in framework!

I like Nifi, but would be a lot easier for me to write code to achieve the same results from many of my experiances. Also ended up with the typical, how do get something that this doesn't have a plugin for to work ... ohh I need to go

It certainly made me think about consciousness being a meta function looking at the subconscious result. So yeah GEB :) It may well be the initial decision is subconscious and although we then (sometimes) inspect it in a meta/consciou

A load balancer is not much use if the application on the other side is borked because of the application code is faulty, I don't really see your point. What I do see is 'devops' typically changing code in critical areas with

Thats code on top of frameworks, to do roughly similar things. As a software engineer I wouldn't be happy writing, and definitely maintaining so much code. His points are fine, but shocker its the same principals that apply to all code
