Once I was called to a meeting in a sibling department as a cloud advisor. They wanted to migrate to AWS cloud. The conversation went as below. - Does your app work fine? - Yes. - Do you have any problems? - No. - Why do you want to migrate

I have leared to ignore any promoted content i.e. ads in my reddit timeline, mostly because they are irrelevant. The app is regardless slow as hell. The Dawn app in comprasion, is extremely smooth and a pleasure to use. I'd guess the d

I'm currenlty working on a project which has used styled-componentes extensively. I plan to entirely remove it (and I am considering tailwind or vaniall CSS to replace it) for the following reasons: 1. It increases mental overhead. It

I think KDE would serve users coming from Windows much better. You'd have much better experience out of the box. I have used Ubuntu, Fedor, and Arch Linux with gnome-shell and have rigorously kept my extensions for a few years up and

This is my experience too, every time I'm looking for meaningful results, after searching my bookmarks of course.

Also note that much like Latin script, many different languages use variations of Arabic script. The most notable one would be Persian.

To add another data point, it has been working like charm most of the time for me across five devices (Linux flavours + Android) (granted, sometimes I have experienced glitches, but no deal breakers).

Can't agree more. When using Google & co. most of my time is wasted trying to filter low quality sponsored or high SEO reaults. ChatGPT gives me an excellent summary of what I wanted to know without all the noise.

I'm using Wayland, Sway and Firefox combo for a few years now and it works very good, including screensharing. Don't forget to install and enable xdg-desktop-portal-wlr to get the screensharing working on wlroot-based browsers.

Sorry for my misleading comment. As stated many times, Twitter suspends accounts to protect the activist. So this is in fact fine.

For many years I was using gnome shell. Every update meant broken extentions. The system would also crash occasionally after few days on a multi-head setup. Then I switched to a hybrid of Sway and KDE and have been never so happy.
