It means Alternate account. players are pretty bitter about the use of ALTs because they're used to join opponent alliances and then spy on them. hence, most alliances now have a pretty rigorous "getting to know you period"

Seems quite comprehensive, perhaps more than any web developer needs to know, but a good resource nonetheless. For FE, I'm glad DOM manipulation is in there somewhere. These days with modern frameworks becoming a big thing an all, I f

As a consumer, at this point (unless they can make it fly), I'd rather have them add reliability and reduce the total cost of ownership.

Chicago may be blue, but it has relatively few regulation for housing compared with cities here. And the cost of labor is lower there than cities in CA.

What's crazy is, even with the insanely high rents, they would still need to go much higher in order to make high-rise construction profitable. I think we really need to start looking at what exactly is driving all those costs in thes

You have to remember, the % increase in housing inventory was already extroadinarily low. So if that tiny number doubles, it's not as big of a change as you might imagine.

This is an excellent point, and is the Primary reason why we have this housing crisis. Things like zoning and regulation can theoretically be fixed, if voters wisen up. But the longer this goes on, the more middle class residents will leav

There's pretty decent demand right now in some areas, but it depends on where you're located. Here in the bay area, there's good demand in SF and palo alto, but very few jobs in the east bay and lots of talent. But, it'
