The same statement holds for humans too. I don't think you can teach a person how to play Go and expect him/her to learn anything else than how to play Go.

It's free because it was free before Google bought it in '06. The world wide web was based on the idea of sharing, not paying for content by being forced to watch ads that I would never ever watch intentionally. Or do you want the

I think an important point was brought up by the Google engineer in the beginning of the game: Humans usually consider moves that put them ahead by a greater margin and base their strategies on that, while computers don't have that bia

There is a huge difference between life expectancy and life span and this article [1] covers it pretty well. Life expectancy is skewed by infant mortality rates: > Our conclusion is that there is a characteristic life span for our specie

The image you linked is the very reason I'm wary of consulting SO for javascript answers. I have found that MDN is a way better resource, including pedagogic examples for most (if not all) concepts without using bloated libraries.

You can use a Jekyll-based blog for that. The cool thing about this is the ability to comment on posts without having to add Disqus or similar services.

Yes, the possibility exists, but it's not implemented as a feature in Github.js so you'd have to manually request the issue comments for every issue like this: github._request('GET', issue.comments_url, {}, callback)
