But (setq variable var) looks the same in CL and ELisp, so it takes the same amount of learning to customize, right? It is not more to learn just because there exist more possibilities in the language.

I experimented with that, but it doesn't use more than one CPU core, so it's more of a proof of concept at the moment. You could use it to make non-blocking user experience perhaps, but you could also do it using `while-no-input`

Yes, on the particular issue of company/corfu, I'm actually tempted to see if we can't just specify that the work of `completion-at-point-functions` must be done in an external process. Then calling `completion-at-point` w

They do have backgrounds. White backgrounds. You don't see it there but it'd be obvious on your homescreen.

Exactly, it is the illusion of transparency. Have someone read something you've written out loud, you'd be surprised how often they use a different tone than you had in mind. Add to that a variety of cultures and backgrounds.

Does the US not legislate that a NPP should be built with certain minimum amount of concrete that is far higher than needed? I read somewhere that lobbies inflate the cost so they will not be built, IDK if that's true.

Another highlight of Worm: it's one of those universes that works very well for cross-over fanfiction. Like Stargate. ...Oddly, very few Stargate-Worm crossovers. A good Fallout-Worm comedy: https://m.fanfiction.net/s

It's like how you can say that VT100 emulation has an expiration date, but you can't say that about the underlying concept of some UI based on a screenful of monospaced text, which is immortal.

Any crypto you did couldn't be future-proof in the way it is today though. Don't know if that's mainly due to better algorithms or from the fact modern CPUs are optimized to rapidly decrypt/encrypt things.
