Both. I imagine if using this there is a tell (e.g. UA or other header). Sites can just block unauthenticated sessions using it but allow it to be used when they know who.

To be fair to MCP it came out 150 years ago, in November 2024. Agents were running on steam and coal then with Sam Altman shovelling the furnace.

Common sense applies. If someone is on a run, dont bother them. If you are in a queue I think make a comment is OK if theh respond keep talking.

I want to hear someone say "I work at Google on a 10yr old 100KLOC service and AI is doing it all we are just vibe coding" as that would be really interesting. Greenfield yeah AI slaughters greenfield before breakfast

Does the skill run in a subagent, saving context?

Also agents cannot trust any data whatsoever they add to their context. This puts reading email for example as a risk. Probably not impossible to create a worm that convinces a claw to forward it to every email address in that inbox. And th

I want to try one to be a bit of a personal coach. Remind me to do things and check in on goals. The memory / schedule / chat thing is enough and it wont need emails or anything more dangerous.

Why not? What changed? It seems like a human factors thing. New people have to get up to speed. Doers become trainers.

He is a Lisper too, making it more ironic. Lisp the power to heavily reduce cruft by heavy customization with macros.

There are a lot of people who can't program but can do specifity. Researchers and lawyers for a start. It does widen the pool and there might be suprising people who never coded who can now build. Maybe people previosuly dismissed as n

Well look at it this way. Europe wants to ramp up on defense given Putin and Trump's moves, so having a big AI company they can keep close probably fits into that. Unless you are saying Europe is basically submissive to the US due to t

There is no encoding that makes everything easier. You trade off maths for general intelligence. Now we are at a point where the LLM can just choose to use a normal calculator anyway!

A transformer tokenizes input, does a bunch of matmul and relu set up in a certain way. It doesn't get to see the raw number (just like you don't when you look at 1+1 you need visual cortex etc. first.)

Yeah it would need to be a union run by it's members. Maybe with a constitution. (Please edit comment to remove names incase they want to remove from OP)

Open Source here is not enough as hardware ownership matters. In an open source world, you and I cannot run the 10 trillion param model, but the data center controllers can.

You can do that in a single matmul of course.

These knife and lead analogies don't map well to the reality of AI. Note: just talking about the analogy itself not the point you are making. Edit: hell I get downvoted and look where the knife analogy got us. A load of weird replies m

Well technically "Open""AI" is a SaaS company. It should be worth almost nothing due to AI being able to code AI (AI training is probably the simplest enterprise code).

Replace "claude code" with "fentanyl" and reread. This is what is called the drug dealer tactic. Once you need AI they will all cartel and you will pay half your salary (or your boss does) for it.
