This is something I've worked on so I can comment a bit. The most popular use case I've seen so far is AR manuals, with the sell that you can have technicians up to speed on a piece of equipment without needing human coaching or t

I [mostly] don't disagree with what you've written here. I think you misinterpreted my point. I'm not trying to say smoking and parenthood are the exact same, I'm trying to say wanting to take a date out for a nice meal

This logic makes no sense. What about no smoking spaces? Basically every nation implements these and it benefits everyone (including smokers, more reasons to quit). Are you going to try and tell me "no smoking in front of the building&

Electrons would just strongly scatter. You would probably need a charge distribution that produces an EM field which looks like the vortex rings. I forget how the analogy for fluid systems works, I think you have to make Poynting vector <

Unit vectors have a normalized length, so the only difference between two unit vectors is the "heading". The angle between them can be interpreted as the the "difference" or distance, between them. Since you can compose

I'd recommend not taking any security advice from internet forums at all if millions are on the line, regardless of OS. I'd hire a professional to harden the computer I want to use for that and wouldn't use it for anything el

All three of those are great things to do. The fact that you know to mention them makes me think you don't need to worry much. When Linux people say they're into security, it usually means research level computer science, not &quo

Pro tip: anyone this argument would work on is currently learning about and tinkering with the tech. The people stuck in the intelligence speculation are tautologically the people you can't stop speculating.

Not that I agree with the content of the lecture, but you have to read between the lines for that. "Putin is much too smart for that" is a stand in for "it would be very stupid for Putin to do this please don't" tha

For sure, I would expect it to be more than the carbon difference. I think it would depend a lot more on circumstance so I couldn't really put concrete numbers to it here.

According to [0], humans exhale about 11.0L of CO2 per hour at night. 02 in, CO2 out, so we can get mols of gas with ideal gas law and mass loss with molecular weight of carbon. If I did my math right, it comes out to 53.9g over 8 hours of

Regards to the last paragraph, did you miss the part where the quote parent opens with is directly from the article, and explicitly makes that distinction? If your going to write an essay for everyone to read, at least try not to end it wit

[0] (data warning, large image file) has a pretty good demonstration of the scale we are looking at here. We may not have accurate weather data into the past, but we do have good climate data into the past. A figure part way through goes li

I don't see it this way at all. The PM sorts tasks based on prerequisites and availability of resources needed to complete them. Deadlines are the times a task has to be done by to not block other tasks that have it as a prerequisite.

Why does the UK call gasoline petroleum? Every context I've ever heard it used in, including technical, petroleum is crude oil, which DEFINITELY doesn't go in your car.

I always wonder when I see this, do people learn to lay comments out like a reverse psychology bait from these books, or are people who are already predisposed to that just drawn to owning them. Any chance the book goes over that? Not dispa
