Twitter is a social media platform, that space is never going to have the kind of social cache novel space exploration does. It doesn't matter how amazing of a communication app or social media platform it is, as a job it is less epic

Twitter seems like a great tool for organizations and people to make announcements to me, but a terrible format for providing actual content or conversation. If I were to design something that would replace twitter what I would design would

Yeah but I feel like "work on twitter" is way less of a .... shall we say noble/socially fulfilling job. I'd value working on sending people to mars (not to live, just to do a walk on it), it'd make me part of somet

Shotguns being the way they are is less about sticking to what people believe to be true and more about making them feel significantly different to other types of fire arm. If you were to have a shotgun with a realistic spread in most games

I definitely wouldn't describe myself as anti-accessibility: I think physical structures should be handicap accessible (with the caveat that I think private dwellings shouldn't be forced to be), I think government services should

That is most definitely not the case in Australia. I'm a dev, I never work weekends. I do sometimes work later in the day meaning some weeks are probably a bit more than 40 hours, but I also take long lunch breaks or leave early so som

I legit had a dream recently that I had enrolled in a graduate degree and then forgotten I was enrolled for months and now it was a week before exam time I had just had a realisation of "Oh hey, didn't I enrol in a degree?"

I hated Serial so goddamn much. I honestly felt like it did a terrible job of establishing much reasonable doubt and it just sort of... ends? Would you still recommend Undisclosed?

How on earth can it be best in terms of ergonomy if it isn't symmetrical and requires rotating it 180 degrees to change hands instead of just... passing it to the other hand?

Netflix sometimes has stereo audio tracks if you look at the list of possible audio tracks, and other times not. I don't have a soundbar or 5.1 speakers so I'm aware of it
