Yeah - it surprising how much demand there (still!) is for 'C'. It doesn't get all the press the 'sexy' languages get. But there's still a lot of work...

I'm well past 50, and currently interviewing... Age hasn't been a problem. I got my last job 18 months ago, and had no problems then either. I think its a matter of keeping your skills current. If your cranking out accounting rep

I couldn't tell you...which is why I put question marks in :-) I just remember seeing comments about it being a bit behind some of the mobile support offered by other systems. I do everything on desktop, so I ignored it. This was a wh

Another vote for Obsidian here. Its the first 'note taking' system I actually _use_ (even evernote wasn't as frictionless for me). Not an issue for me, but others might be concerned about its (lack of??) mobile support. I

I loved altavista query language.. For me, the draw in to Google was just the sheer size of the index.

I had the opposite reaction...Google search was so 'generic' compared to how you could do laser focused searches with altavista... What pushed Google over the top for me was the sheer size of their index...

Hmm - it appears I was mistaken: "regional offices in London, Berlin and San Francisco." But the gentleman that interviewed me was in Austria. They are remote first, and have people all over from our conversation.

I wasn't aware it was up to Putin.. But assuming your logic is correct, we're screwed anyway. Putin has always wanted to rebuild the USSR. He's annexed territory in the past, he's attempting to annex it now, and he'

I think it stands a better chance of keeping us OUT of a NATO conflict then starting one.. Violating a no-fly zone requires authorization, and hopefully thought.. Whereas, right now, we're simply waiting for a bomb to mistakenly land o
