Bollocks. Chrome's PDF implementation absolutely sucks. I have numerous PDF documents which it can't handle at all. I've just opened them in Firefox 19 and they are absolutely spot on. I'm uninstalling Acrobat reader for a week to see how i

You are correct. It probably would, from my perspective. I actually talk to people, properly, deeply. My memes are not limited to 140 characters...

Charge leaks through the conductors as well into the connecting circuits, through the packaging and the adhesives. No insulator doesn't leak.

They aren't magic. They have a relatively high self-discharge (or leakage depending on how you measure it) compared to say Li-ion/NiMh cells which means basically they piss capacity away slowly. Don't expect your wonderful supercap car to a

When did OUCS suddenly become a bunch of muppets. They had some credibility once that appears to have gone out of the window.

Isn't it out job to promote the story? I've just emailed it to about 200 people (ironically two of them work for the business software alliance).

Yes I can tell the difference between canned, glass and plastic bottled coke. Also Pepsi vs coke (pepsi is quite sour). Wine on the other hand I find is just ego cock-waggling. I prefer water to all, which tastes like shit in London, UK.

That's naive and inefficient. We only care if there is a system error, if the user phones up or they fill in the online support form. This is only to satisfy the path of the phone call. Everything else is passed around with context. For the

No and I really don't care about those users - it's entirely their problem. We support vanilla IE7-10, Firefox 6+, Chrome 10+. Any anti-virus, content filters, other browsers etc are up to the user to sort out - it's in their contract.

I've seen this before on a couple of shared web hosts. There was previously a multi-language (javascript and php) worm which did the rounds through a few things a while ago. It put me right off using shared hosting.

We wrote our own version of this which took about 2 minutes to write. 1. Client hits /support/client-info which generates a specific system error with a unique ID (right 6 digits of a GUID) and pumps browser, error and user context informat

Not really. REAL furniture is still being purchased for reasonable prices. Even pieces which take 6 months to make are financially viable. You just have to know where to sell it and how to get work commissioned. You need to understand that
