That is wrong, how? Revenue streams (and corresponding cash flows) are the lifeblood of any business. It's a nice notion to build an organization solely to do cool things but, if you don't make money somehow you'll go out o

I don't think the issue lies so much in tacking on a bit extra to cover the tax as much as being subject to it without knowing. It doesn't seem unreasonable to expect that building an application for another company would be cons

1 in 5 college students suffer from test anxiety. If you, or someone you know, has run into this you probably know that it can be really frustrating to know the material but freak out when it is time for the test. I built it to help my gi

I didn't have any that came up... too bad. To be fair, it is the first day. Looking through the selection of matched books that are available, it looks somewhat similar to the titles that were in the Kindle lending library when it fir

I agree... three slightly different shades of grey? Since it is for the OS and Apple's own application, I would think that sticking to one shade each of their main colors (e.g. blue, red, green, purple) would be better. So many color

This seems to be right in line with the business model for Path. But Trello is way more useful.

$3.7 billion in sales is not a lot when you are talking about an industry or market. Now if you spread the $3.7 billion over the different product options, one option alone is probably not going to bring in a whole bunch of revenue. Aftera

My company has had an unlimited vacation policy for 2-ish years. According to the HR dept, it hasn't really changed people's vacation habits... they still take about the same as they did before: 2 weeks. The biggest thing has bee

How do you handle when you are done working and, while leaving the darkened room, stub your toe or step on the clutter? In all seriousness, I tend to do the same thing.

I wonder why they wouldn't just structure pricing to incent users to move towards the digital versions. You can pay the $60 for a disc based game and all the benefits/drawbacks therein or... pay $30 to get it digitally and be abl

I think something to note in your comment is that you chose to go to a school who didn't focus on marketable jobs... This seems to hint either at a) you didn't check job prospects before choosing a college or, b) your school was failing at

Agreed. I had a side project that ended up driving adoption of several applications that had components from the project that saved the company over $100k per year in employee costs by automating things that were previously very manual.
