I agree with you. 1. I run Arch Linux on windows vis WSL which provides pacman as a package manager. Pacman is way better than homebrew. 2. Docker runs much faster on windows compared to Mac. 3. My Mac will freeze up at times, while ctrl+al

I wonder how the move from x86 to arm is going to affect desktop apps. With the move to ARM apple is already pushing it's iOS apps into MacOS. Once it becomes commonplace on Windows, it would be super easy to run Android Apps on Window

I evaluated AWS and GCP for my startup and found GCP to be more expensive. The horror stories I've read about Google's lack of customer support put me off too.

It's funny how computers have become massively powerful with multiple cores and oodles of RAM , but still struggle with rendering html interfaces on the client. My machine can render Call of Duty at 60fps but will sometimes struggle to

I don't get the point of this article. What they achieved with the RAMEN service can easily be achieved by anyone using gRPC. At the very end of the article they even talk of a version 2 of their service which uses gRPC and seems promi

One really good side effect of this move is going to be that you can run Android apps with ease on Windows. I wonder if this will make people move towards apps instead of electron apps. Since android apps are made for low power devices, the
