NixOS kind of fits the bill (it can generate complete OS images from a recipe which is IIRC statically typed and "compiled") If it looks waaaay different to puppet, ansible and chef, there's a reason for that :) Doing provisi

I'm unconvinced by the max-version part, I can't see how it doesn't require either A) being overly restrictive, and declaring the current released version as your max, breaking for a short time on each new lang version B) bei

Nitpick: C is weakly typed, Ruby is strong. C is statically typed, Ruby is dynamic. Strong typing is about objects having a definite type. In Ruby, you cannot cast a String to a Fixnum, an exception will be raised. But in C you may cast any

There is no such thing as jaywalking in the UK, it's neither an offence (with the exception of motorways, which also regulate the type of vehicle which may enter), nor a term that's widely used or understood. Outside of cities, th

At several points, the wording also appears to suggest that being homeless is in itself a criminal act. There may well be a big problem, but this active seems quite callously written.

I've left all of my previous posts without anything lined up and taken a few months. Even once in to the interview cycle at the end, it's a lot more relaxing (and flexible) than doing them while employed!

London and Paris both have metro systems which can carry you significantly further than a car significantly faster. In London there are not significant numbers of people driving to work compared with public transport.
