You're telling people not to listen to Ford PR, and instead pointing them to a podcast by a higher-up at Tesla with a very clear bias and incentive to talk shit about competitors? Dude... Waymo can scale as fast as they want to via pa

There are so many cherry picked data points and unfounded assumptions in this article it's hard to even pick where to start rebutting it. I'll just pick the most obvious one: if you limit your data set of companies to tech, of co

I have hired data scientists, but not in the last two years. I agree that 90% of the work is building a good pipeline and identifying + cleaning data, but disagree that example code is a good way to evaluate either of those skills. I'

I'm curious why you want a Data Scientist to show you a portfolio of code rather than a portfolio of data projects & outcomes. The code seems pretty secondary unless you're in a some specific field looking for code-based solu

Can anyone with experience in a warehouse environment comment on the need for this robot to pick up boxes from the top? When I used to pack and ship things for my small business I always lifted heavier boxes from the bottom. The suction c

There's a very big difference between having worked 2-3 years in industry and actually being an experienced expert in that industry. The latter usually takes a minimum of 5 years in my opinion. Also note the industry most MBA student

It varies by school, but here's the list for Wharton [1]. In general, it's a lot of consulting and finance followed by various types of roles at Fortune 500 companies. Plenty go to FAANG as well, though. [1] https://p

You’re using local price factors when BLS is looking at National ones. Outside California, things are quite different. For example, see [1]. In general, just assume that California doesn’t reflect the broader US on basically any measure. [1
