I, too, would like to know this and find it odd it wasn't mentioned at all. Most web traffic these days is from mobile devices, not desktops/laptops. And Apple at least seems to try doing a decent job of obfuscating trackable info

1) The real world is not a simple economic model. The wage rate is roughly equivalent to the rate it costs to replace an employee, not their marginal value. If your argument was true, company profits would tend toward zero as wages rise. 2)

fwiw, self-driving cars did not grind to a halt, development just did not move as quickly as the pundits and self-promotion claimed. I just rode in a fully driverless car on public streets in downtown Austin this week.

I think you have two common misconceptions here. 1) Wages have very little to do with value/productivity in a free market. They are almost entirely determined by supply and demand. Value simply places a ceiling on compensation. Thus, i

I think you missed my intended point. Of course there are no perfect startups. However, at any given time there are multiple startups doing largely the same thing, but most of them will fail. I want stories about why Startup A succeeded, an

I have yet to find a good series that address this well. One episode of the Autonocast does come to mind, though: http://www.autonocast.com/blog/2020/3/27/181-stefan-seltz-ax...

I also think this is a must-read for would-be entrepreneurs. Probably nine times out of ten when someone tells me about their startup idea looking for advice I point them to this book first because they haven't done the basic validatio

Here's their operating margin for the last 4 quarters: Q1: -49% Q2: -65% Q3: -50% Q4: -38% So what you want is a business model where the company runs purely on VC money instead of on actual profit. SaaS companies like Gitlab usually c

I'd really like to know where people are withdrawing their money from these banks to . They're not taking suitcases of cash, so it must be flowing to some other financial institutions. Is it going to traditional big banks (BofA,

Just a quick note on this since I ran into the same wtf? moment a few years ago. 1) Saw Stop holds a number of patents that legally prevented anyone else from adding the same tech to their saws. Most of the patents didn’t expire until 2021,

Yes. The author is referring to Mobileye's proposed definition of autonomous driving levels [1], which are somewhat different from the traditional SAE ones. At the hands-off + eyes-off level you don't need to pay attention at all
