Add a feature where you can select what to wipe, e.g. you could choose to have it wipe only your SMS messages, so the phone still looks lived-in and not factory-fresh and make it impossible to tell whether the normal unlock code or wipe cod

AFAIK only G+ related things are deleted. I don't use Picassa, but my Gmail, Drive, YouTube, Wallet, Play Store, etc accounts are all unaffected.
