It’s literally impossible to reconcile the fact that the same groups (I.e heritage foundation) that backed trump are trying to collapse the European Union (as a matter of fact on the record) with the idea that the US intel community can be

As seen with the many examples of this that have come before it I.e stack exchange and reddit answers etc… nobody is in anyway even remotely motivated to put in the time and effort to offer their expertise to have someone else steal it for

Not a Rust or even a systems language guy but it’s not “for some reason”. The reason is actually incredibly clear and about removing the single largest surface area of security problems in the entire history of Linux.

Don’t get mad about it but a lot of people want to work with Flutter because they think is better for any number of reasons. The data is what it is.

It’s also just nicer to work with in addition to having all of the multi platform stuff taken care of you for free.

I would say the opposite and it sounds like a personal preference at which point I think lack of cross platform compatibility ceases to anything else other than a major major problem.

Same model as Flutter which is a million times more pleasant to write and mature at this particular use case which I don’t actually think Rust is well suited to generally speaking.

Just to be super clear.. using this in place of something like WireGuard is absolutely not an improvement. It’s actively worse in the majority of scenarios assuming you can manage to secure your keys.

I mostly agree.. there’s a couple of very specific scenarios where maybe something like knockd makes sense I think but they are all scenarios where you’re doing things covertly, not as a general authentication mechanism. As a side note I ju
