I agree. I live in a small suburban development abutting several larger ones. There are miles of safe walking/jogging sidewalks and roadsides, I can enter the local mountain biking trails that go for miles just at the end of my street,

There's a possible case to be made that Google should be regulated in some way, perhaps as a public utility, with requirements for human interaction. It's unacceptable that they have as much power over the Internet as they do and

Not true. It's impossible to truly compete at First Class Mail. The USPO(USPS) is a de-facto First Class mail monopoly because of the Private Express Statutes.
