It looks like Pipenv does not handle the python install itself or associated non-python libraries. With Conda I can tell it to install Python 3.6 along with FreeTDS (for mssql). Conda lets me do this in one environment.yml file and have it

My favorite thing about Brave on Android is that it is basically Chrome with ad blocking. Firefox with uBlock on Android becomes unbearably slow and chugs after using it for a bit on my brand new Pixel. Opera crashed on me twice in the span

No fix for 1.9? We are stuck on 1.9 because 2.X does not support connecting to more than a couple hundred hosts. This ticket has been open for about a year now: https://github.com/ansible/ansible/issues/14143#

There is a local metadata API for Azure but it is fairly simple right now. Some limited instance info about your host ID, fault domain, and update domain: curl http://169.254.169.254/metadata/v1/InstanceInfo Poll

I firmly believe No-SSH is a goal you should always strive for but never actually achieve. There are always cases where you need to do really detailed troubleshooting that requires things like tcpdump, a debugger, or even running lsof (or o

That only works if I already have Chrome in the foreground. If I cmd-tab to another app to copy something, and then cmd-tab back to the Hangouts Chrome App to paste it but it actually just shows me my browser window instead. There is no way

The latest YakYak release is only 50MB. YakYak has been running on my Mac the entire day now and it is only consuming 55MB of RAM. I tend to agree that Electron apps are heavy but it seems like there are ways to make it small like this one.

Strongly agree. I discovered YakYak a couple weeks ago and haven't looked back at the plugin or native apps. For those curious why people may not like the alternatives: Chrome Plugins/Apps: - Cmd-tab doesn't work properly wit

The best use of this is for saving battery life. Chrome will absolutely destroy your battery. You can configure it to auto-suspend tabs after X minutes of inactivity only when you are on battery. (Alternatively you can switch to Safari to s

Outlook does have snooze/scheduling. Just curious, how is processing hundreds of emails in Mailbox or Inbox better than Outlook? Seems like trying to do that on a mobile device would be hard no matter what app.
