Do you have any proof on the claim of the virus being "airborne"?

Where did you get that <1% number? It was low but I think you are 1 order of magnitude off.

I see, I missed the joke I think, reading again, it was quite obvious, sorry about that.

I was just answering to the claim "when just the lidar for a waymo car costs more than the entire tesla vehicle". Which is clearly wrong. The tesla you can afford still does not have self driving capabilities either btw.

According to [1] Waymo produces its own lidars. In 2017 it costed $7500 without being mass produced. Edit: wording. [1] https://www.theverge.com/2017/1/8/14206084/google-waymo-self...

Details of their deal with bing is unknown. It could be that Microsoft is giving it for free or they may have even better terms. There is zero transparency.

You think 54 vs 42 is a small difference in this area?

They probably do a different ranking on the bing index, not directly proxying. If you try non trivial searches, you can see that ddg does not have a different result than bing, only order and representation differs.

The explanation is fluff and has no meaning if they don't give which percentage of queries is answered by which source. e.g. it is probably all bing for any non trivial query. To me, it seems they just want to create an illusion that i

I didn't see this before, interesting. I remember Gerv from his blog, he indeed had strong opinions regarding religion, but this obituary is completely out of place, it seems as if she had some personal issues with him.

There are other things but first thing that comes to mind is tgat Youtube has several orders of magnitude more content than others. Netflix is not a similar service.

Your version lacks depth and I appreciate Linus's response. Imo, he can call something garbage if the mentioned garbage makes false and bold claims about his and contributors decades of work.
